About us
A shop for the drawer. Made to be kept
A tea towel is used every day and thought about almost never. It is wrung out, folder over a rail, dropped on the floor and washed at forty. Most are bought to be replaced.
This is a shop for the other kind. The one that is still in the drawer twenty years later, and still means something.
We take the kitchen more seriously than a tea towel probably warrants.
The cloth
95% cotton, 5% linen, 228gsm. Printed in England in reactive ink, which goes into the fibre rather than sitting on the surface. Finished with a red ric-rac and a yellow seam. Approximately 50 x 70 cm as supplied, settling to around 68 × 48cm after the first wash.
